Ahwatukee Behavioral Health & Wellness, known familiarly as ABHW, has been providing psychiatric care to communities in Ahwatukee and the greater Phoenix area since 2017. We are committed to providing integrated and holistic care to address the unique needs of every individual. ABHW providers continue to attend continuing education, and to challenge themselves and each other to ensure that they are providing the best possible care, based on the latest evidence and peer-reviewed research. Over the years, this mentality and drive have led us to expand our services beyond psychiatric care, to include integrated therapy services, peer support services, and community support. This holistic approach allows us to tailor treatment plans that address not only the symptoms but also the underlying factors contributing to mental health and addiction issues.
That spirit continues to propel us forward, as we continue to provide new services for our patients, including intensive outpatient programming and novel treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment-resistant depression, Spravato nasal esketamine (a variant of ketamine) for depression, and other services.
